CLUB CAR CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE LANDINGS GOLF & ATHLETIC CLUB
ANNOUNCES RECORD-SETTING 2023 CHARITABLE DONATIONS 

(Savannah, Georgia – May 1, 2023) – Tournament officials announced today during a special event at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s Deer Creek Course, that the sixth annual Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club, contested the week of March 20 – 26, raised more than $400,000 for charitable organizations in greater Savannah and beyond. The 2023 amount equals the largest single-season charitable donation in the history of the official Korn Ferry Tour event and brings the tournament’s five-year total to nearly $1.2 million, marking the first time the tournament has eclipsed one million dollars in charitable giving.  

Additionally, the Club Car Championship unveiled the results of its 2023 Sweepstakes Fore Charity program. The grassroots initiative not only raised critical dollars for charity, but also provided one lucky fan with the keys to a new custom Onward, courtesy of Club Car.

Sweepstakes Fore Charity has raised more than $70,000* for the tournament’s charity partners since its inception in 2021.”

Benefiting charities of the 2023 Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club include: CASA Savannah, EmployAbility, First Tee Savannah, Folds of Honor, Girls on the Run Coastal Georgia, Kids Cafe at Second Harvest, Landings Landlovers, Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Services, and The Landings Military Family Relief Fund.
