Our History and Growth
Founded in 1958 in Houston, Texas, Club Car moved to Augusta, Georgia in 1962 under Bill Stevens. In 1979, “The Original 8,” a team of former EZGO executives, acquired the business and reshaped the industry with groundbreaking products.
In 1995, Club Car joined Ingersoll Rand, expanding its reputation as the global leader in golf and utility vehicles. In 2021, we entered a new era under Platinum Equity, continuing our mission to innovate and deliver best-in-class vehicles worldwide.
