- Flooded Lead Acid: approximately 15–35 miles (24–56 km)
- HP Lithium-Ion Extended Range: approximately 25–50 miles (40–80 km)
- Lifted Suspension
- Flooded Lead Acid: approximately 15–35 miles (24–56 km)
- HP Lithium-Ion Extended Range: approximately 25–45 miles (40–72 km)
After four full years of use:
- Non-Lifted Suspension

The Onward HP Lithium Ion battery offers longer life, zero maintenance, faster charging, and enhanced safety compared to flooded lead-acid batteries.
Onward Lithium Ion batteries retain significantly more usable capacity over time than flooded lead-acid options.
After approximately four years of use:
- Flooded Lead Acid: ~35% of original capacity remaining
- Lithium-Ion: ~90% of original capacity remaining
This means more consistent performance and fewer replacements over the life of the vehicle.
Lithium-Ion batteries are completely maintenance-free.
There’s no watering, cleaning, or terminal maintenance required—delivering reliable performance without added upkeep.
Lithium-Ion batteries charge up to 40% faster than lead-acid batteries, helping reduce downtime and get you back on the road sooner.
Each Onward HP Lithium-Ion battery features a state-of-the-art Battery Management System (BMS) that:
- Protects against overcharging, overheating, and deep discharge
- Is housed in a self-contained, water-tight metal battery enclosure
- Is designed to withstand real-world operating conditions
The Club Car Onward 6 Passenger golf cart features two rows of forward-facing seats and a rear-facing bench seat in the back. The second row includes ergonomic grab handles and dual cup holders. A long, one-piece canopy shades rear-facing third-row passengers.
With a top speed of up to 19 mph (30 kph), the Onward 6 Passenger golf cart is classified as a Personal Transportation Vehicle (PTV). The three-row golf cart can be driven in neighbourhoods and planned communities where PTVs are locally permitted. The non-lifted model is also approved for use on golf courses.
Always check local and community rules to confirm where PTVs are permitted to operate.
