AUGUSTA, GA (July 2008) – Club Car introduced the XRT950 series this month, expanding its consumer utility vehicle lineup. The addition of three full-featured, mid-size UTVs brings the company’s tally up a few more notches:
XRT800 Series: XRT800, XRT810 and XRT850
The compact XRT800 series vehicles haul almost anything around the home, farm or lake. Thanks to their compact size, the vehicles fit easily in the back of a normal size pickup truck and navigate narrow spaces without a second thought.
An aircraft-grade aluminum frame and a dent resistant, chemical resistant, plastic bed box are just a few standard features users can expect. The option of either gas or electric power helps users in varying settings benefit from the XRT800 series vehicles.
XRT950 Series: XRT950 4x2, XRT950 4x4 and XRT950 EX
The newest series to join the XRT family, these vehicles are packed with top of the line features and technology, setting a higher standard in their segment.
The new series is made up of three vehicles featuring a 14HP Vanguard™ Engine, offering 20% more displacement than similar competitor models. Other features include independent rear suspension, increased passenger room and retractable seatbelts.
At the top of the series is the XRT950 EX. This special value package includes a canopy top, fold-down windshield, full Bestop™ enclosure, rear receiver hitch, sealed CVT, and front tube bumper. The full enclosure is manufactured by Bestop, makers of enclosures for Jeep® brand vehicles. These enclosures protect users from rain, sleet and snow.
XRT1550 Series: XRT1550, XRT1550 SE and XRT1550 IntelliTach
As some of the strongest, most desirable full-size luxury utility vehicles on the market, the XRT1550 models are engineered with superior technologies, components and styling.
On the inside, the XRT1550 series vehicles are equipped with technologies including fully independent front suspensions, automotive-style 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and IntelliTrakTM technology – Club Car’s signature all-wheel-drive system.
XRT1550 models are constructed with a rustproof, non-corrosive, lightweight, aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum frame – the same grade aluminum used in F-16s and racecars to ensure a long lifespan.
To maximize comfort, Club Car gives users the option of selecting bucket or bench seats. The XRT1550 SE even offers four forward facing seats without sacrificing bed box size.
Club Car also corners the “workhorse” market with the IntelliTach system. This hydraulic-powered, quick-changing tool attachment system lets one vehicle do the jobs of many.
