AUGUSTA, GA (July 2008) – Club Car recently established a relationship with Broomfield, Colorado-based Bestop® Inc. to outfit a new series of utility vehicles with removable enclosures. Known best for the production of Jeep® brand enclosures and accessories, Bestop will provide full cab enclosures for Club Car’s XRT950 series.
“When we began designing the XRT950, Bestop was the only choice in our minds for enclosures,” said Tim Amos, Club Car Project Manager. “We wanted to offer our customers a utility vehicle with premium features that would stand up to any environment. Bestop has proven that their products can withstand anything Mother Nature throws their way.”
The XRT950’s cab enclosure includes a hard molded canopy, a soft wire-framed rear curtain and two-piece soft doors. The soft pieces feature Bestop’s signature appearance and durability with fabric that maintains its shape in any temperature, is mildew-resistant and contains UV-inhibitors.
Similar to the widely recognized Jeep enclosures, the XRT950 enclosure is also ready to take on the elements. The cab system creates an enclosed environment, allowing users to drive through mud, rain and snow without feeling the effects.
