See how ideas become a reality. If you can imagine it, Club Car Custom Solutions can build it. Custom Solutions designs and builds accessories to outfit vehicles for specific applications.
In 1994, Ingersoll Rand’s Club Car business agreed to modify up to 100 of its utility vehicles to satisfy a customer’s special request to make special modifications to the vehicles it bought to move materials and personnel around its extensive grounds.
By the end of the 1990s, customized Club Car vehicles could be found delivering the mail in Sweden, ice cream treats at a campground in South Carolina and weapons and ammunition at FBI training facilities in Georgia and Texas. The unit also has produced specially equipped transportation vehicles for major airports.
"Club Car’s experience and capabilities give us the ability to provide solutions in a wide-range of areas where smaller, four-wheeled vehicles are needed," says Club Car President and Chief Executive Officer Phil Tralies. "Custom Solutions is a prime example of leveraging those capabilities outside our traditional parameters."
Looking ahead, Randal Crook, Custom Solutions Manager and Club Car’s senior management believe it is the Custom Solutions tradition of unorthodox thinking and proven production dexterity that will help the company win market share in industry sectors as diverse as hospitality, retailing, waste management and recreation.
