Our inside contact at Club Car informs us that the company will shortly be releasing an affordable UTV targeted at the ATV rider who wants a two-person off-roader with better utility function, but doesn't want to spend the extra money that UTVs usually cost. Our source informed us that the new vehicle will be downsized slightly from the XRT line of 4x4's, will be steel-framed (not aluminum-framed as other club Car models are) and has some innovative technology wrapped into it. The accessories and cabs are supposedly being designed by Bestop, a company that has been building high-end accessories for the Jeep crowd for 50 years. Word has it that the XRT 950 may be in dealerships as early as this fall.
