Club Car’s flagship consumer utility vehicle wins top honors from ATV Illustrated
News reached Club Car headquarters in June that the XRT1550 IntelliTach will be honored as the UTV of the Year by ATV Illustrated magazine. The award comes after extensive product testing and reviewing of the XRT1550 IntelliTach and competitor models by ATV Illustrated editorial staff.
With an official announcement of winners in all categories due to hit the publication’s website later this month and newsstands in September, publisher Bob Davis notified UTV category finalists of results in early June.
“Club Car IntelliTach took top honors,” said Davis. The XRT1550’s signature quick-change tool attachment system IntelliTach makes multi-tasking quick and easy. Secured to the vehicle’s frame, IntelliTach utilizes arms and a mounting plate extending beyond the front cowl, designed to connect to a variety of attachments. The attachment system can be quickly stowed in the front grill of the vehicle when not in use.
IntelliTach was just one of the bonuses that led to Club Car’s win. Put together with the vehicle’s other capabilities, the choice for the UTV of the Year was clear. “It’s hard to beat those front end hydraulics and attachments,” said Davis.
ATV Illustrated plans to have an extensive review of the vehicle posted on its website, complete with video footage and commentary. In addition to announcing the XRT1550 IntelliTach as the UTV of the Year, the magazine will name other finalists and winners in other categories.
